Yugoslavia is Communist Republic established by Josef Broz Tito after World War II.  The United States refuses to recognize that no fragment of the former Yugoslavia has a legitimate claim as a successor state. Serbs dominate the government, army and state administration. Kosovo is officially a province of Serbia.  They currently are trying to rid the country of Albanians to the point of genocide or ethnic cleansing as it is is called.
