Robert Young

February 22, 1907 - - - July 22, 1998

Actor Robert Young starred as the caring dad on television in Father Knows Best and went on as the dedicated doctor in Marcus Welby, M.D.  Ironically, in his personal life, he alcoholism and depression for most of his life and even attempted suicide.  He died of respiratory failure at the age of 91 in the Los Angels suburb of Westlake Village Tuesday.
