Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he became a rapper who made it onto the top music charts, had a successful television sitcom called The Fresh Prince of Bellaire. He later went on to a successful movie career in Hollywood with such box office hits as Bad Boys, Independence Day and Men In Black, among others. He never forgot his roots or his friends and in spite of his enormous success he remains one of the most down-to-earth superstars of all time. The love of God is significant in his lyrics and acceptance speeches for his numerous awards. Will Smith is currently married to his second wife, Jada Pinkett, with whom they also have a child. Will has a child f rom his first marriage. When Will talks about divorce and the other lows in life he simply says "its like you are on the highway, you see a broken car down on the side of the road, and all these cars are passing by, one of these days you will be that car broken down. But, not to worry, the tow truck will be there soon and everything will be fine again." Will Smith has broken the color barrier on many levels and is loved by all audiences.
