Born in New York and raised in East Orange, New Jersey, Eddie Rabbit had 26 number one country music hit songs. Rabbit got his first break Elvis Presley recorded his song Kentucky Rain in 1970. He was most famous for his song, I Love a Rainy Night. He died at age 53 of lung cancer and is survived by his wife and two children. Eddie also had another son who died after just 2 years due to a bad liver.
