Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico as Enrique Martin Morales, Ricky Martin is not new to the limelight. When just 12 years old he starred in the Latino musical group called Menudo. It had many versions of this band and they had an age limit. When he turned 18 he was excluded from the group due to it's age requirements. He continued to record music and even appears in a soap opera role on American television in General Hospital. In 1998 he released the French World Cup Soccor song named La Copa De Lavida (The Cup of life). A year later, Livin La Vida Loca put him at the top of the charts and made him a teen idol and sex symbol throughout the world and appeared in numerous magazines, inteviews and television shows.
