Brian Keith was born in Bayone, New Jersey, and often played in western films.  Television shows he played in include A Family Affair, Michner's Centennial, and Hardcastle & McCormick.  1997 had brought the 75-year old actor had lung cancer, emphysema, financial setback, and the suicide of his daughter (his only child, a son died duing childhood).  Brian Keith had died from a suicide by shot gun wound to the head in his Malibu, California home.  His surviving wife is Victoria Young.
