 Born in Brooklyn, New York Alan Funt create one of the all-time classics of television in its earlier years, Candid Camera.  The plot was to capture people on film (or now, tape) in hilarious situations to capture their genuine reaction.  Today it is the format for so many other television shows, including a similar format in Spanich called (Lente Loco).
