Sandy Hook, New Jersey
Sandy Hook is a National State Park located off of Exit 117 on the Garden State Parkway. It has 5 miles of sand dunes, marshlands, and is home to a large Coast Guard Station. One of its attractions is the oldest operating lighthouse. Admission is $10 per car. They have a snack bar, bathrooms and showers located off the beach. There is also a "Carry In - Carry Out" policy which means that you are responsible for all trash and waste items. Bags are provided, and there are no trash cans so you must carry it out of the park and take the responsibility of disposing it. There is a nude beach at Gunnison's Beach.
