Software Review

 AIM (AOL Internet Messenger)

www.aol.com

This is free software emulating the ever-popular American Online "Instant Message".  You can chat with anyone who has an America Online account and/or anyone who has this software.  In competition with ICQ (which AOL now owns), this version of an "internet buddy list" allows for pleasant alerting tones which you can change, member profiles, hyperlinks and has the ever-popular AOL format for chatting.  Now those who do not have AOL can communicate just the way their AOLer friends do.  This is free, and does not include the features of the America Online Service such as news, weather, sports, and all other content which would also be a web browser, email and file transfers.
