1967 Singer Jimmie Rodgers found in a car in Los Angeles near death and suffering from a fractured skull from a mysterious assault.
1982 Barney B. Clark becomes the first recipient of an artificial heart at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died just 3 months later on March 23, 1983.
